: Hi, I was checking on your website and I thought I would ask you a question. I don't know if this is your e-mail address; however, I thought I would try. Anyway, in the last month, my male canary has stopped singing. He is molting quite a bit and I was wondering if they stop singing during molting season. I did have him outdoors for a while and he loved to sing to the birds outside and then he stopped singing. So, I brought him back inside and have kept him to a routine; however, after about a month, he still has not returned to singing. Do you have any suggestions or comments. I would appreciate hearing from you. T. Hello Teresa: Also Teresa I would make sure he is in a screened area if you put him outside as a mosquitoe bite can cause a canary trouble. Also feed him a lot of green vegatable, apple and seed and song food and he should be ok. Good Luck, Grace |
