<font face=arial size=2>: Saturday nite... Eddie (beat up by kitty, now recovering) is now picking at his soft leg splint, causing some bleeding. The vet is off duty til Monday! The techs at the animal ER (sounding very rushed and harried) said to take off the splint, but it's stuck on so tight, I don't dare. Can I put something on the irritated area to soothe it until I can get him to the vet Monday? Any ointments safe for canaries? I want to get some ideas before I run off to Petco to look for Bird ointment. Thanks.</font>
