They are now together. Nest building starded at once. They fly at each other and one of them chirps loudley. Nest comning along great. He tries to mount her (I think) my wife thinks he is pecking her head. Is this normal! ( HELP )</font></font> <font face=arial size=2>: Hello:</font> <font face=arial size=2>: Well this is breeding season for canaries. You should gove the female a nest so she can prepare it and put him in with her. Just watch them carefully for a few days to make sure both are ready. Make sure the hen is ready because if she is young and never bred before she may not be ready and the male could be agressive and hurt her.</font> <font face=arial size=2>: Good Luck and please keep us posted.</font> <font face=arial size=2>: Grace</font>
