I would like to put 2 canaries in an "ornamental" cage made of wrought iron that I bought from Pier One. They told me that I should not use it for birds because if they chew on the cage it could sicken them. Is there some kind of sealant I could put on the cage to protect the birds should they chew on it? Thanks, Pam
