DO not use any air fresheners, candles or other types of scent-makers around birds.
They are putting off chemicals into the air, and can kill your bird. If you can smell
it, then it is producing chemicals and birds, even if they don't die immediately, can
slowly go into respiratory distress and die. Even hairspray and perfumes are not a
good idea. Good idea for asking before you used it! Most people don't realize it is
unsafe until the bird is dead
